Nachos are originally from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico by Nacho Anaya on 1954 and gained popularity when Fran Liberto started selling nachos during Texas Rangers baseball games at Arlington Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Nachos are made with Corn tortilla chips, pinto bean, pico de gallo, cheese and sour cream.
Tacos in the City
The word taco comes from the Nahuatl word ‘tlahco’ which means “half or in the middle” referring to the way it is formed and for that reason Tacos are part of the cultural and gastronomic diversity of Mexico.
